How to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19

1. Maintain a distance of at least 1 to 2 meters when interacting with other people.
2. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue. Throw the tissue in a bin & wash your hands.
3. Wash your hands often with soap & water for at least 20 seconds. If not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
4. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
5. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with your hands.
6. Avoid crowded places such as airports, shopping malls, religious gatherings.
7. Plan your grocery shopping so that you go less frequently and during quieter times.
8. Clean all surfaces that are touched often, like counters, tabletops, and door handles.
9. Monitor your symptoms carefully. If your symptoms get worse, call your doctor or the NICD 24- hour hotline 0800 029 999.
10. If you are self-isolating:
a. Stay away from other people in your home.
b. Avoid sharing personal items with other people in your household, like dishes & linens
